NEWS: Play Areas Throughout Walt Disney World Have Reopened

Explore Florida Theme Parks

Updated: Jul 6, 2021

Since the official park reopening in July 2020 due to the Covid-19 shutdown, many of the high touchpoint areas at the parks have been shut down to lower the chances of the spread of Covid-19.

As of earlier this week, Disney has decided to begin loosening Covid-19 regulations throughout the Walt Disney World parks and resorts. Vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear masks throughout the resort, and physical distancing guidelines are slowly being dissolved.

Because of this play areas such as the “Laughin’ Place” at Magic Kingdom, the Liquid Layer Water Play area at Epcot, Elements of ImageWorks at Epcot, and the Mission SPACE: Training Labs at Epcot have now reopened to guests. Are you excited to see Disney adjust back to "normal" operations?
